2013 :: week 31

Lauren really likes shoes, and that extends to all shoes, not just her own. Oddly enough she rarely puts on my shoes. Will's blue shoes are her favorites, but she also wears Dad's occasionally.

Will really enjoys "playing" the piano and Lauren wanted to join in. Will wasn't very happy about it, but she was thrilled.

We've been helping my parents paint their house this week. There is a lot of prep work that goes along with painting, but it looks so good when you're done. It's amazing how a fresh coat of paint can really brighten things up.

I don't know if it is the gray weather we've been having this week, recovering from the weekend in DC or the fact that I have a bad habit of staying up too late, but I have had a really hard time getting myself out of bed this week.

Two year molars require a pacifier, puppy and blankie in close proximity at all time.

Our good friend Darren and his wife Liz passed through KC this weekend and stayed with us Friday night. We had a great time visiting with the Hintons and look forward to more visits in the future.

Will was really excited to help me shuck some corn when we went grocery shopping Saturday. He wasn't really a fan of the "hair" though.

As usual- your kids beat my kids to teeth. I don't think Elise is close to getting her 2-year molars. I think Sadie just finished cutting them like 9 months ago.

Also, love Will's face in that last picture. So Anthony.

Ooh I love that Loj is playing with a bona fide beanie baby! I'll have to gather mine up and store them for later!
