Oh hi. My name is Elliott and I intuitively know where I can go in any room to cause the most damage. What is with the weird stuff in the bottom of the planters at church?! Elliott loves to pull it out, throw it on the ground or eat it.

Will has been doing a lot of reading lately. He read two
Magic School House books this week and is well into a third. I've been having him read when he tells me he is bored, which is often. He rarely starts reading on his own, but once he does he gets into the book and won't stop for quite awhile.

Elliott is getting increasinly independent. He prefers to feed himself and that gets pretty messy. He really liked the creamy chicken and rice I made for dinner this week. With Anthony being out of town we were able to eat it two nights in a row (he often takes the leftovers to work for lunch).

Lauren has gotten pretty good at riding a 2 wheel bicycle with training wheels. Unfortunately I couldn't find the pump and the tires on Will's old bike had gone flat. She's done a good job of making do with her tricyle and rode it to the school at pick-up three times this week. She's gotten fast!
She's come a long way.

When Anthony is home the kids like to wrestle. Will has learned a few of TJ's go-to moves and it's funny watching him anticipate what Anthony is going to do. Elliott tries to get in on the action too.

Anthony officiated a wedding for the first time Friday evening. The groom was a Sunday School classmate of mine growing up, and I enjoyed visiting with him and his family. The wedding took place at sunset on the rooftop of the
Rieger Hotel downtown. The weather couldn't have been any more beautiful. This "Kansas City I'm So In Love," wall is right around the corner from the hotel, so we had to stop and snap a picture after we ate what I would consider my best meal of 2016 at the Rieger Grill.

Many men in our ward and stake meet up at Joe's KC for BBQ after the Priesthood Session of General Conference. That's a lot of white shirts!
