2013 :: week 18
Last Sunday we had such gorgeous weather! In the afternoon we headed to the back porch where I tried to write in my journal while the kids played. Then Lauren decided she wanted to snuggle, so we did that instead. Later we went for a walk with our friends and feasted on cookies.
Lauren really loves rocking toys. They never did much for Will, but Lauren rocks out on them all the time. It cracks me up to look over and see her rocking back and forth and having the time of her life. Also of note, her hair. She wore it in a ponytail Sunday, and her hair is so fine most of it stayed in the back.
Tuesday my sister Laura joined me for water aerobics. The kids went to the gym daycare because TJ was in DC while we worked out. Then we played in the explorer room for a bit.
It's almost uncanny how often I get headaches when TJ is traveling. Wednesday we consumed an embarassing amount of media while I did my best to endure the headache. Will provided Lauren and me with a fun song and dance show, complete with throwing his "guitar" on the ground at the end.
It snowed. I turned the heater on again and we stayed inside most of the day. I'm not going to dwell on the fact that it snowed in May.
Lauren enjoyed singing "I am a Child of God," before bedtime Friday night. She loves singing and this is currently her favorite song. We often hear her singing in crib before she falls asleep at night and in the morning when she first wakes up. Our kids love to sing.
Saturday night Will decided he wanted to "help" Lauren get clean and he rubbed bubbles on her back. These two are funny partners in mischief.

I'm guessing you go to MR to work out? Do you like the childcare there? I have to yet to use it with Ava, but it seems great. Have you tried a spin class there? I used to go to a bunch of their classes years ago and loved them, but have never tried spinning.
