the final countdown
It seems that Christmas has taken an extra long time to get here this year. I was talking with a friend recently and we decided that it's because of our toddlers. We got into full holiday mode right after Thanksgiving, which is much earlier than years past. With school, work and traveling for the holidays the Christmas countdown didn't start til much later.
And now it's finally here. It's a good thing too, because for the past few days both kids have been flirting with the naughty list.

That's funny. I said that exact thing to Daniel the other day. I think for me it also feels longer because I am way more excited since Sadie is old enough to understand a little bit.
