I LOVE it when our azaleas bloom. The blossoms only last for about two weeks, so when we pulled in from Minnesota Saturday night I knew I needed to take advantage of their beauty and get a picture with the kids before church. Cute kids + smiley baby + pretty flowers = heart eyes emoji for me

The blog books I worked on arrived! It was the highlight to an otherwise blah day. Will and Lauren both had discharge from their eyes, so I kept them home from school. There is a fair amount of conjunctivitis going around, so when I called our doctor's office they called in a script for eye drops without an appointment. It took me three pharmacies to find one that had the drops in stock! It was rainy and overcast and we were all a bit tired from our trip, so it was a very low-key day.

Tuesday we went to the half day playdate at Electric Park. The boys tried to keep up with a guy that was working out, running laps and doing pull-ups on the tree. He was only wearing running shorts and shoes so the boys called him "Naked Man," which they thought was hilarious. The kids lined up (on their own!) on this fence and asked the moms to take their picture. From left: Leo, Lauren, Addy, Ben, Drake, Soren and Will.

Besides the rain on Monday, it was a gorgeous week! We spent as much time outside as possible. We have started going for multiple walks in the afternoon and evening. Elliott gets a bit grumpy between 3-7pm, but is almost always content when we are outside. Therefore, we are spending a lot of that time outside. There are only a few weeks each year with such idyllic weather and we are doing our best to soak them up.

We met some friends from church at Scouting Park for a picnic lunch Thursday. Pictured here are some of Lauren's favorite friends--Bailey, Emsley and Kenni. For the second time this week I made a crock pot meal (pulled pork) and it was fantastic. We could spend time out and about and still have a great meal at home, with minimal effort in the afternoon.

Elliott is such an expressive little guy. When he's happy, his whole face lights up. And when he's sad he looks so sad it breaks your heart. Between his never-ending cold and teething we've been seeing more of his sad faces lately. He was all smiles when he woke up from his nap and watched me fold laundry. I *almost* caught this little nose-crinkle thing he has started doing when he is really happy.

Simply a gorgeous spring Saturday. We did odds and ends around the house. Yesterday I signed Will up to play t-ball this summer and he has since dedicated his life to the sport. Here Anthony and Will are doing drills to help Will with his catching. Also, it must be spring cleaning because one neighbor offered us an extra fridge and another a swing set their kids have outgrown.
