just a little trim

About a month ago Will's hair started to get out of hand. I typically cut his hair, and feel like I do an adequate job for the most part, but my skills and experience are fairly limited. As his hair grew out  my mistakes became harder to hide. Just as I was about to reach my breaking point with Will's mop, we fortuitously received a coupon to Great Clips in the mail. A haircut including tax and tip for under $10? Yes, please.

We talked with Will quite a bit over the course of a few days about how he was going to get a "big kid" haircut and how very brave he was to get one. He seemed pleased about the idea until we got him in the chair. His bravado vanished and I held his hands while the stylist went to work.

I asked him to smile for the camera, and this is the best I got.

Excited about the dum-dum, or just glad it's over?

Fresh trim the next day. I feel like he looks a lot like his dad in this picture.

Will has never enjoyed getting his hair cut, but I was proud of him for enduring the torture.

That picture of him in the chair is hilarious! And he looks so old with his new haircut! Very very very very cute :)

Handsome! I've been meaning to get Evaline's hair cut for reals, too. Maybe this next week...

I couldn't stop laughing at the picture of him at the barbers. Wow, that is such a sad face. Such an expressive face. Tell Will I put lots of extra "stickers" (stamps) on the Christmas card coming to your house, just for him.
