The weather we've been having the past month has done little to motivate me to get out of my pajamas/lounge wear in the morning. Unless there is somewhere I have to be, like church, I go straight from the shower back to my comfy sweats. 17-year-old Carrie would be disgusted with the ensembles I've elected to wear out of the house (carefully hidden under my coat, of course) when I'm forced to run an errand or two.
As luck would have it, I've passed my comfort-over-style ways on to my child. Here is Will in all his protruding-belly mis-matched-striped-legged glory.

I've started to call him
Mr. Smee (due to their resemblence in body shape and predilection for stripes).
Just another reason we are looking forward to the
50 degree weather Gary has promised us this weekend.

At least you showered. :) We are known to be a bit "Smee-ish" around here too.
The best part of winter is getting to be comfy in sweats! Enjoy it!
Also, Will is adorable, and getting so big. His round belly is so cute!
His open mouth and big lips remind me a lot of baby pictures of Anthony. How do you not spend all day poking Will's tummy?
Dear Carrie,
I just had a chance to read some of your posts, and I loved them! And Will is adorable!! And I really really loved the post about Kansas' Sesquicentenial, well said! And, I laughed out loud at many of the things I read, including the part about Stephanie cutting Uncle Jesse's hair. Anyway, just wanted to let you know I thoroughly enjoy your posts!
Always,
HH
I love being Smee!!! I hate the length of winter but the best part is being cozy in my sweats all day and possibly drinking some hot cocoa too. Besides, I think Will is adorable in his Smee get-up!
